Baptism Marriage and Funerals

St. John's has a policy of open Baptism, offering all families

the option of bringing their children (or older members of the family) to be baptised.

Please contact the Parish Administrator at the Parish Office (you may leave a message on the answerphone)

You will then be contacted by a member of the Clergy.

St. John's beautiful interior and prayerful atmosphere is greatly appreciated by couples who marry here.

It is possible for those who have been divorced to marry at St. John's but entitlement to this is not an automatic right

and you should be prepared to discuss your circumstances frankly in confidence with one of the clergy in order to enable this to happen.

St. John's offers a caring service to those who are bereaved. It is normally the responsibility of a Funeral Director to make arrangements with the church in these circumstances.  However, increasingly people are making funeral arrangements in advance and the church will happily discuss these with you and securely store details of your requirements until they are needed if you wish.
