St Mary's Church stands on the holy headland that gives Penzance (Pen Sans) its name. If you are approaching by car follow along the outer edge of the town, close to the sea, (Wharf Road). There is a large car park near to the Harbour. On Sunday mornings space may be available in St. Anthony's Gardens car park near Battery Road.  On foot St. Mary's can be approached down Chapel Street or from the Promenade by climbing several flights of steps through the graveyard, the entrance gate is near to St. Anthony's car park. 

St. Mary's has full facilities for disabled persons but level access to the building itself is sadly rather complex.  Cars should travel down Market Jew Street turning left opposite the Lloyds Bank Building and following round into Chapel Street.  On reaching the Admiral Benbow Inn turn right into Voundervour Lane (opposite Abbey Street on the map).  To the left is an alleyway which leads into the graveyard and from here the church can be reached on level  ground at a distance of around 100 metres.  Unfortunately there is no car parking available in this location, cars should follow the road towards the Promenade and then turn left and go to the St. Anthony's Gardens car park.
